Perhaps Veganuary passed you by or maybe you’re already a convert to vegan living; there’s no doubt, though, about the growing popularity of vegan food, beauty, skincare and clothing. The Economist has even declared 2019 ‘the year of the vegan’, and it’s now one of the most searched-for terms online.
You’ll often see ‘cruelty free’ and ‘vegan’ labels alongside each other but one doesn’t necessarily lead to the other. A product can be vegan (meaning it doesn’t include any animal-derived ingredients) and yet not be cruelty free (if any of its ingredients have been tested on animals). Similarly, just because something is cruelty free doesn’t mean it’s vegan - it just means it wasn’t tested on animals but could actually contain animal-derived ingredients.
At Rabot, most of our products are vegan and we never test on animals so you can be sure that they are all cruelty free.
As always, we’d love to hear what you think and, if there’s a particular vegan product you’d like to see, drop us a line on social media @rabot1745beauty or firstname.lastname@example.org
